Software Engineer (Internship)

Location: Mountain View, CA

Pattern Insight is looking for exceptional undergraduate and graduate engineering students who are close to graduation and are interested in experiencing the exciting work environment of a high growth startup.

Job responsibilities:

• Work independently on a full project over the course of your internship
• Design and implement new features and algorithms for our search engine, database and user interface
• Develop automated tests

Skills and experience we are looking for:

• Deep knowledge of Java or C++, familiarity with Python a plus
• Familiarity with Linux as a development environment
• Some experience in one of the following areas: systems programming, databases, search engines or distributed systems
• "Get things done" attitude
• Currently studying Computer Science or a related field
